Adrenal Fatigue Recipes – Immunity Booster Juice
This immunity booster with the turmeric and ginger is a great way to start the day nutrient rich.
It’s very important to use the whole carrot/apple/grapefruit, rather than carrot/apple juice – the roughage helps full you up, you get extra nutrients and concentrated fruit (and vegetable) juice is often very high in sugar.
If you find the end result a but “chunky”, add chilled water or ice and re-blend.
Immunity Booster Juice
Ingredients
- 1 medium carrot (use the whole carrot, rather than juice)
- 1 whole grapefruit (approx 230g)
- 1 inch ginger (peeled and sliced)
- 2 whole apples core removed and chopped
- 1/4 tsp. turmeric
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper (gives it a real zing)
Instructions
- Place all ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. Serve with ice cubes.
